[Name redacted to protect her identity] emailed us a few days ago. She had broken the screen on her black Macbook the last day of finals at West Virginia University. She came home to Narberth and her parents kept asking her where her computer was. She would reply “Oh, it’s upstairs”. She kept this up for a few weeks but she knew that it would be impossible to fool them for the whole summer. She decided a few days ago that she really needed to get it fixed. After a quick Google search, she landed on our page and emailed us.
While performing her repair (while her parents weren’t home, obviously!) she told us that she had won a $150 scratch off lottery ticket the day before, so it cut her costs in half for the repair!
After a half an hour, her screen was fixed and her Macbook looked brand new. Her parents (probably) had no idea. Mission accomplished.

Ronya loves Google…and so do we! She gave us a call after making several Google searches for local companies that repair computer screens. She shared with us some of the search combinations she tried: “San Diego computer repair,” “Macbook computer repair screen.” “fix my Macbook screen.” “Apple Care cracked screen coverage.” “fix computer screen,” “cracked LCD repair.”and “screen repair in San Diego.” Finally, she found our site after typing in “San Diego Macbook screen repair.” We came up first!
Within minutes she was on the phone with us and describing how her LCD screen had cracked that morning. We briefly explained our service and set up an appointment for later that evening. Ronya, a sophmore at SDSU, was happy to have her Macbook screen repaired and back in business 45 minutes after arriving. Glad we could be a part of your weekend. Good luck with midterms.

No, we know what you’re thinking – the culprit in this case was not spilled root beer. Rather, it was a bottle of root beer. We got a call from Krista last night saying her son had a smashed Macbook screen. The incident occurred days ago when the family left their home in the care of the cleaning lady. Before they left the Macbook was fine, the bottle of root beer was on the shelf and the cleaning lady had just arrived. After they returned the Macbook screen was broken, the bottle of root beer was on the desk and the cleaning lady had just left.
Fortunately, a friend had heard of a service that repairs cracked computer screens. Krista gave us a call and we were able to fix her son’s laptop screen the next day. To all our fellow Macbook users out there, make sure your root beer bottles are level with or below your Macbooks. As we learned here, unfortunately, root beer doesn’t float.

We got a call from Soh earlier this afternoon. She had been walking around with a shattered screen for several weeks when she noticed one of our fliers on the UCSD campus. Minutes later we were on the phone setting up a time and place to meet to repair her cracked Macbook.
Geisel Library has been a common meeting location for many of the students at UCSD who have unfortunately broken their screens. Soh said this would be a fine place to meet since she would be able to get some work done while waiting. We met there and took a look at her computer. It was an amazing sight – she had Hello Kitty stickers covering all of the keys. Quite impressive, actually. She expressed concern that she would have to lose some of these stickers because of the repair. We ensured her that it wouldn’t be necessary to remove any of her collection. Within forty-five minutes we had her Macbook screen back in working order without any of the cats harmed or tampered with.
